قاعِد qāʿid – “ones who sit / sitting / those who sit”

Not equal are those believers remaining [at home] - other than the disabled - and the mujahideen, [who strive and fight] in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives. Allah has preferred the mujahideen through their wealth and their lives over those who remain [behind], by degrees. And to both Allah has promised the best [reward]. But Allah has preferred the mujahideen over those who remain [behind] with a great reward -

মুমিনদের মধ্যে যারা অক্ষম নয় অথচ ঘরে বসে থাকে ও যারা আল্লাহর পথে স্বীয় ধন-প্রাণ দ্বারা জিহাদ করে তারা সমান নয়। যারা স্বীয় ধন-প্রাণ দ্বারা জিহাদ করে আল্লাহ তাদেরকে, যারা ঘরে বসে থাকে তাদের উপর মর্যাদা দিয়েছেন; তাদের প্রত্যেকের জন্য আল্লাহ জান্নাতের ওয়াদা করেছেন। যারা ঘরে বসে থাকে তাদের উপর যারা জিহাদ করে তাদেরকে আল্লাহ মাহপুরস্কারের ক্ষেত্রে শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দিয়েছেন।

برابر نہیں ہیں اہل ایمان میں سے بیٹھ رہنے والے بغیر عذر کے اور وہ لوگ جو اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد (قتال) کے لیے نکلتے ہیں اپنی جانوں اور مالوں کے ساتھ اللہ نے فضیلت دی ہے ان مجاہدین کو جو اپنی جانوں اور مالوں سے جہاد کرنے والے ہیں بیٹھے رہنے والوں پر ایک بہت بڑے درجے کی (اگرچہ) سب کے لیے اللہ کی طرف سے اچھا وعدہ ہے لیکن فضیلت دی ہے اللہ تعالیٰ نے مجاہدین کو بیٹھے رہنے والوں پر ایک اجر عظیم کی (صورت میں)

बिना किसी उज़्र (कारण) के बैठे रहने वाले मोमिन और अल्लाह की राह में अपने धनों और प्राणों के साथ जिहाद करने वाले, बराबर नहीं हो सकते। अल्लाह ने अपने धनों तथा प्राणों के साथ जिहाद करने वालों को पद के एतिबार से, जिहाद से बैठे रहने वालों पर प्रधानता प्रदान किया है। जबकि अल्लाह ने सब के साथ भलाई का वादा किया है।तथा अल्लाह ने जिहाद करने वालों को महान प्रतिफल देकर, जिहाद से बैठे रहने वालों पर वरीयता प्रदान किया है।

Tidaklah sama antara mukmin yang duduk (yang tidak ikut berperang) yang tidak mempunyai 'uzur dengan orang-orang yang berjihad di jalan Allah dengan harta mereka dan jiwanya. Allah melebihkan orang-orang yang berjihad dengan harta dan jiwanya atas orang-orang yang duduk satu derajat. Kepada masing-masing mereka Allah menjanjikan pahala yang baik (surga) dan Allah melebihkan orang-orang yang berjihad atas orang yang duduk dengan pahala yang besar,

Müminlerden özür sahibi olanlar dışında oturanlarla malları ve canlarıyla Allah yolunda cihad edenler bir olmaz. Allah, malları ve canları ile cihad edenleri, derece bakımından oturanlardan üstün kıldı. Gerçi Allah hepsine de güzellik (cennet) vadetmiştir, ama mücahidleri, oturanlardan çok büyük bir ecirle üstün kılmıştır.

(هرگز) مؤمنانی که بدون بیماری و آسیب، از جهاد باز نشستند، با مجاهدانی که در راه الله با مال و جان خود جهاد کردند، یکسان نیستند، الله کسانی را که با مال و جان‌شان جهاد کردند؛ بر بازنشستگان (= ترک کنندگان جهاد با عذر) مرتبه برتری بخشیده‌است، و الله به هر یک (از آن‌ها) وعده نیکو (= بهشت) داده‌است. و الله مجاهدان را بر قاعدان (= بازنشستگان) با پاداشی بزرگ برتری بخشیده‌است.

Ne sont pas égaux ceux des croyants qui restent chez eux - sauf ceux qui ont quelque infirmité - et ceux qui luttent corps et biens dans le sentier d'Allah. Allah donne à ceux qui luttent corps et biens un grade d'excellence sur ceux qui restent chez eux. Et à chacun Allah a promis la meilleure récompense; et Allah a mis les combattants au-dessus des non combattants en leur accordant une rétribution immense;
